Over the past 6 years I've been passionate about overall health and wellbeing, specifically ways to push my body to its limits. In doing so I stumbled into the world of Ultrarunning, and after a few years of competing, have found that I'm okay at it. Ultrarunning is a big part of my life, but I am also incredibly passionate about Plant-Based nutrition. I yearn to help people live a healthier life. Running may be a hobby of mine, but the main reason I do it is to inspire people to chase a crazy dream, live life to the fullest, and remember to have fun in the process.
I've been plant-based for the past three years and have found it to be the ideal diet for my self and Ultrarunning. I'm not a nutritionist or a leading expert in this field, but I have found this diet very beneficial to my performance and have not felt better. We only live once so it's imperative to take advantage of the opportunities when they arise. I'm grateful for what I have in life, and also want to give back as much as I can. This entails non-profit support, inspiring people to chase their dreams, and supporting those close to me through hard times. I work every day to better myself and better my community.
